Since 1962, the Fort Hamilton Healthcare Corporation has awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships through its Health Careers Assistance Program. The scholarships are awarded annually to area student planning a career in health care. Applications for this year's scholarship awards are now available. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a health career curriculum; be a Butler County resident; and have the completed application and one-page essay explaining career goals to The Fort Hamilton Health Care Foundation by April 2, 2004. Criteria for selection is based on financial need, grades and community involvement.
