Thank you for your interest and welcome to Fort Hamilton Hospital.  We are a full-service community hospital with a medical staff of over 350 practitioners including medical doctors, doctors of osteopathy and allied health.  Some of our specialties include diagnostic and interventional cardiology, pulmonology/critical care, sleep medicine, neurology, diagnostic and interventional radiology, obstetrics & gynecology, pain management, oncology and radiation therapy.  In addition to general surgery, we also have vascular, orthopedic, ophthalmic, oral & maxillofacial, plastic & reconstructive, podiatric and urologic surgery.

We have an excellent hospitalist program that provides 24-hour coverage seven days a week, which allows community physicians to focus on their private practices while keeping apprised of an inpatient’s status. We are sure you will find Fort Hamilton’s resources and staff to be exceptional, especially for a community-based hospital.

Douglas C. Gula, D.O.
Midwest Orthopedics of Fort Hamilton Hospital offers orthopedic care provided by Douglas C. Gula, D.O. Dr. Gula is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. His general orthopedic practice includes fracture management, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, including holmium laser, pediatric orthopedics and hand surgery. Dr. Gula is a graduate of Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Grandview and Southview Hospitals in Dayton, Ohio.

He is accepting new patients. He has three offices, all of which can be reached by calling 513-867-4165.

Rajmohan Karnik, M.D., F.A.C.C., a fellowship trained cardiologist, earned his medical degree at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India and completed an internal medicine residency at Georgetown University in Washington DC. He also completed a cardiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Hahmemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Karnik is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, with primary areas of interest in cardiovascular imaging, including coronary angiography, heart failure and preventative cardiology and lipid disorders. He recently relocated from the northern Ohio area to Butler County where he lives with his wife and two sons. His hobbies include reading, photography and traveling.
 

Daniel C. Eckert, M.D., F.A.C.C. is a fellowship trained interventional cardiologist. He received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He earned his medical degree and completed both a cardiology residency and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Eckert is originally from Kettering, Ohio and currently resides in the Mason, Ohio area.
 

Saeb F. Khoury, M.D., F.A.C.C. is a fellowship trained interventional cardiologist. He received his medical degree from the University of Malta College.  He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, and both Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at University of Cincinnati.  He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology.  Dr. Khoury is originally from Palestine.  He moved back to the Greater Cincinnati area eight years ago, where he has been practicing as a cardiovascular specialist since that time.

Dr. Khoury is trained in coronary, peripheral interventions. He is also certified in managing structural heart diseases, including percutaneous closure of atrial septal defects, alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as well as percutaneous management of valvular heart disease.  


A. R. Wattar, M.D., F.A.C.C., is a fellowship trained cardiologist.  He earned his medical degree at the University of Aleppo in Aleppo, Syria in 1988. He completed an internal medicine residency and molecular cardiology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Health Systems in Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a clinical cardiology fellowship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He came to the Butler County area from northern Ohio where he has practiced cardiology for the past eight years. His major interest is general cardiology. He has expertise in nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiogram. He enjoys reading, sports, family time and travel.

Fort Hamilton Internal Medicine offers adult and preventive medicine provided by Rohini Sachdeva, M.D. Dr. Sachdeva is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She graduated from Panjabrao Alias Bhausaheb Deshmukh Memorial Medical College in Amravati, India and completed her residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Dr. Sachdeva is accepting new patients at her Hamilton office location. Same day appointments are currently offered:
