Inpatient Adult Mental Health Program top of page

Fort Hamilton Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization that strives to stabilize the patient in the least restrictive environment with involvement of the patient, the family and the treatment team. The mental health unit specializes in the treatment of emotional and mental disorders.

A multidisciplinary team which consists of the attending psychiatrist, registered nurses, patient care technicians, occupational and activity therapists (who provide therapeutic programming with daily structured activity), dieticians and social workers provides treatment to our mental health patients.

For more information about our adult inpatient mental health program, please call 513-867-2433.

Referrals can be made by any physician, mental health professional, clergy member, nurse, social worker or individual. The partial hospitalization program is recommended for clients:

  3. With dysfunctional anxiety, grief or depression.
  4. Who have difficulty functioning cooperatively in their place of residence
  5. Who need to readjust to community life following hospitalization.
  6. Who have not had success with traditional outpatient treatment.
