In order to provide female patients with more individualized care, Fort Hamilton will be consolidating women’s services in one convenient location on the first floor of the new ICU tower. The new center provides a separate and easy access from both the parking lot and the main hospital for women’s imaging services. Fort Hamilton provides a comprehensive array of core diagnostic women’s services including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI of the breast, non-invasive breast biopsies, and osteoporosis screening. A mammography coordinator helps patients to coordinate women’s services as needed. Women’s Health Choice is a soothing environment accented by a warm décor and the gentle sounds of a waterfall. Perhaps most important, the specially trained staff help reduce anxiety and guide women in making good health care decisions.
